large family small home?
I have a large family there is 7 of us right now! we live in a 3 bed room houses but here is my problem. organizing and space issues. I have one closet i men one closet in the whole house. no pantry and maybe 5 cabinet over sink and 6 under.. and a small basement which has my washer and dryer maybe a lil space. My hubby rental this house I did not see it until he signed the papers. i need ideas badly.there is 5 lil one. so i need some way to fit toys clothes shoes coats (no coat closet) everything in a 3 bed room house with 7 people. lets not forget the kitchen and bathroom items. help anyone !!!
Get space bags! They were great and save ALOT of space.

When you have to make a storage space, wherever possible take the storage all the way to the ceiling (of course with the least used on the top). Also do you have access to the attic? In many houses, you can place plywood over the joists and then use that for storage of little used items.
Go shopping! There are several types of containers, from under bed storage to wall storage. Look around online first to get an idea of what you will need them for and which rooms you will be putting them in. Dressers are good for clothes, toy boxes don’t take up much room and hold a lot. We lived in a house w/out a pantry once so I went to walmart and bought a cabinet that looks like a pantry and it worked great! Also look into getting some space bags for clothes that aren’t being worn. For example if its winter no one is wearing summer clothes and could be stored, and in the summer store those winter clothes. That should free up a TON of space. You can purchase spacebags in walmart. Look for a rack you hang from the ceiling that you could put pots and pans on, and don’t forget how many things you can hang on the wall or on cabinet doors. If you or your husband are handy there are prob’ly things you can make. Just look on DIY websites. Hope this helps.
